Just a bit of fun here, so I was looking into probably the most popular pants (trousers for our Brit English speakers) in the world today. Who does not have a pair of jeans, maybe you don't have them in trouser form but rather in a vest or skirt. Chances are you have them and are very used to how they feel and work. What you don't know is we have the French to thank for them. Like a lot of things, helping out so we Americans could win the Revolutionary war, the statue of liberty, great food and fashion sense at least the late 1600s.
Yes the French are responsible for why Jeans look the way they do, and it all came from experimentation.
