As you well know summer is on us (well those of us in the northern hemisphere) and that means more traveling and the like.  This means more accidents and more people ending up in the hospital.  Most people do not realize that hospitals are always on a razors edge when it comes to donate blood. I decided to donate blood and found it was actually not that hard. First they ask all kinds of questions to make sure you can donate and are healthy enough for it.  Then after all this you get a snack and something to drink (yea that is a bonus) and put you in a comfortable chair.  The person I got was so good I did not feel the needle.  Less than fift

For everyone, no matter who you are.  For me this is a much more awesome holiday than Christmas.  Why?  It is the day that Jesus Christ, our savior rose from the dead.  He is alive today, he suffered bled and died for everyone, took on all our sins so we could be redeemed because he loves us and wants us to not only be happy in this life but know true joy forever.  He allowed himself to be crucified and died on the cross so we all can live, he rose from the dead so we can too. Just a bit of fun here, so I was looking into probably the most popular pants (trousers for our Brit English speakers) in the world today.  Who does not have a pair of jeans, maybe you don't have them in trouser form but rather in a vest or skirt.  Chances are you have them and are very used to how they feel and work.  What you don't know is we have the French to thank for them.  Like a lot of things, helping out so we Americans could win the Revolutionary war, the statue of liberty, great food and fashion sense at least the late 1600s. Yes the French are responsible for why Jeans look the way they do, and it all came from experimentation.
